OVERVIEW

ESA were charged with the Bushfire Education Resources: a government initiative created after the Black Saturday bushfires.

CHALLENGE

Create a site viewable by rural Victorians. It must maintain the strictest W3C accessibility and provide multiple government departments with different access points for inputting data. A complex project with a simple outcome.

SOLUTION

A ridiculously easy to use website. Fully W3C accessible, with multiple levels, and easy to manage.

The Carter folk are a well-oiled user-centric focused creative team. Working across multiple digital platforms, creating dashing websites, applications along with beautifully crafted Android, iPhone and iPad apps. We are dapper designers with spanking new crayons, super nerd developers and OCD project managers. Be it online strategy, web site design or application development; we come well-dressed for all digital ideas.

A carbon neutral studio

Carter's fine folk sit at recycled timber desks, type on keyboards powered by rechargeable batteries, walk on carpet made from recycled tyres and plastic bags. They breathe air created by an in-office garden and drink tea heated by an environmentally-friendly kettle. These ‘Digital HTTPsters’ hold meetings within a den of recycled paper accordion walls that weave throughout the studio.

When it’s time to leave, the crew grab their bags from upcycled lockers that once lived at a nearby AFL Club. They flick the switch on low-energy lights powered by 100% carbon-offset energy. Journeying home, they walk, ride and catch public transport.

Principal, James Noble, hand-crafted the furniture from recycled timber, layered and sealed using biodegradable glue. Now that’s commitment.
